Rachel Morrison is an Arts Advocate and passionate about the performance of all art. Currently, Rachel holds the position of Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at Eaton Corporation. She holds a Bachelors of Music in Performance from the University of Akron and is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts in Arts Administration. She serves as a board member for GraffitiHeArt, a non-profit (501c3) organization that promotes health and art in the community through the advocating of graffiti and mural street art as an appreciated art form through aspiring talented artists, resulting in charitable contributions that fund art scholarships for underserved youth and urban development projects in Northeast Ohio. In addition to her administrative experience, Rachel has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra Opera Chorus, Opera Circle Cleveland, Nightingale Opera Theatre, Akron Baroque, Re:Voice, and West Side Vocal Academy. Rachel is also a member of the Cleveland Chamber Chorus and has toured nationally and internationally as a member of Singers Companye, a professional choral ensemble located in Akron, Ohio. This is her second time performing with Great Lakes Light Opera and she is looking forward to watching Opera continue to thrive again in the Cleveland area!
