R!ch Cihlar, co-owner of the E11even2 gallery at 7th Street Studios, and muralist/graffiti artist Bob Peck, are both known for their vivid, in-your-face, pop-influenced, street-style art. With styles that mess easily, the two collaborated on the works they’re showing in Don’t Panic! Brace for Impact, which goes on view at Baldwin Wallace University’s Fawick Gallery this week.

The show features not only their own work, but that of friends of theirs who all have ties to Baldwin Wallace alum Stamy Paul, founder of the nonprofit GraffitArt which supports street-style artists. Participants include @officialserganddestroy , @ricksans, @rustbeltrebirth Meyer, @thesignguy1972 @rev.jim , @randycriderart @vicsavage and @graffitiheart1 .

The show’s theme — idea of unseen forces colliding with each other — will find expression in such works as designer toys, spray painted works, and other forms of street art. In addition, Cihlar will be introducing one of his refurbished vintage vending machines that dispenses art. The Cleveland Artifact Machine will offer small pieces of art by regional artists to raise money for art scholarships. He’ll donate it to Graffiti HeArt after the show closes.

@dont_panic_duo ! Opens with a reception Friday November 12 @ 5-8pm and will be on view through Friday December 3.
